California Fitness Receives Two Awards from Men's Health China

California Fitness has received two awards from the Men's Health - Best Fitness Club Awards 2009 in China, with the Best Facility Award for its club in Beijing and the Best Personal Training Team Award for its club in Shanghai.

The awards honoured the most popular services and products offered by fitness clubs throughout China. The results were decided based on a rigorous nomination and voting process by editors and readers in 10 major cities.

"This is truly encouraging. These two accolades represent real recognition of the success of our clubs in China although we have been in the market for only a year and a half," said Colin Heggie, President of California Fitness. "I would like to thank all those who voted for California Fitness, and of course, our staff for all their hard work and commitment."

"Fitness is a growth market in China since people are just starting to become more health-conscious. We will retain our commitment to help more people live better through fitness", added Heggie.

California Fitness opened its Beijing and Shanghai clubs in August and November 2007 respectively. It has 22 clubs across Asia.
